Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival – Urumqi

    Arrive in Urumqi and meet your local representative for a transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before beginning your Northern Xinjiang adventure.

  2. Day 2

    Urumqi – S21 Desert Highway – Beitun/Fuhai

    Travel along the scenic S21 Desert Highway and visit Karamaili Sand Dune Park, where vast desert landscapes meet rolling dunes, before continuing to Beitun or Fuhai.

  3. Day 3

    Ahe Highway – Hemu Village

    Journey along the picturesque Ahe Highway (subject to opening), passing Wuxilike, Tongba Forest and the Tuo Lehait Grassland before arriving at the fairy-tale village of Hemu.

  4. Day 4

    Kanas Lake – Three Bays – Burqin

    Explore the breathtaking Kanas Lake and its famous Three Bays—Shenxian Bay, Moon Bay and Wolong Bay—before continuing to the riverside town of Burqin.

  5. Day 5

    World Ghost City – Kuitun/Dushanzi

    Visit the spectacular World Ghost City, renowned for its unique wind-eroded rock formations, before travelling to Kuitun or Dushanzi for the night.

  6. Day 6

    Sayram Lake – Yining

    Enjoy a scenic drive around Sayram Lake with a relaxing lake cruise, passing iconic viewpoints including Pine Head, the lighthouse and the famous S-Bend. Continue via Guozigou Bridge to the charming Six-Star Street in Yining.

  7. Day 7

    Yizhao Highway – Kalajun Grassland

    Travel along the scenic Yizhao Highway (subject to opening) to the vast Kalajun Grassland, one of Xinjiang's most beautiful alpine meadows, before overnighting in Tekes or Zhaosu.

  8. Day 8

    Nalati Sky Grassland

    Explore the spectacular Nalati Sky Grassland and enjoy a scenic travel photography experience with afternoon tea, surrounded by endless alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks.

  9. Day 9

    Tangbula – Duku Highway – Urumqi

    Travel through the picturesque Tangbula Hundred-Mile Gallery and the legendary Duku Highway, enjoying some of Xinjiang's most spectacular mountain scenery before returning to Urumqi.

  10. Day 10

    Departure

    Enjoy free time before your transfer to the airport or railway station, concluding your unforgettable Northern Xinjiang adventure.
